This policy applies to paid Practical Automation Lab ("PAL") software subscriptions purchased directly through PAL. It does not limit any refund or cancellation rights that cannot legally be waived.
For direct PAL purchases, the payment provider or merchant of record identified at checkout processes the transaction. Refunds, where approved, are returned through the original payment method and may be subject to the provider's processing times and applicable payment rules.
You may request a refund of an initial PAL subscription payment within 14 calendar days of the original purchase. We will generally approve eligible requests unless there is evidence of fraud, abuse, or substantial use inconsistent with a trial of the service. Mandatory consumer rights under applicable law remain unaffected.
Recurring subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Renewal payments are generally non-refundable once processed, except for duplicate or incorrect charges, material software-service failure, or where a refund is required by applicable law. Cancel before the next renewal date to prevent future recurring charges.
If you believe you were charged twice or charged an incorrect amount, submit a refund request promptly. Valid duplicate or billing-error claims will be corrected.
Use the PAL software access form and select the relevant PAL product. In the message, state that you are requesting a refund and include only the email address used for the purchase plus a brief reason. Do not include payment-card numbers, passwords, API keys, or other sensitive information.
PAL Catalog Check for Shopify is billed through Shopify rather than PAL's direct checkout provider. Refund or billing requests for that app are handled according to the billing and support process applicable to the Shopify app and Shopify platform.
