Find catalog risks before they become product-feed problems.

What the app checks

Product completeness

Titles, vendor/brand presence, Online Store URLs and product images.

Image readiness

Observable image dimensions are checked against the 500×500 readiness target used in current Merchant Center preparation.

Variant identifiers

Flags variants with neither SKU/MPN nor barcode/GTIN, without inventing identifiers.

Price and variant structure

Flags non-positive prices and duplicate option combinations that can create feed or catalog ambiguity.

Current scan boundaries

This is a catalog-readiness check, not a guarantee of approval by Google Merchant Center or any other sales channel. The app does not connect to a merchant's Google Merchant Center account.

Troubleshoot common Shopify → Merchant Center catalog problems

We’re looking for 5 Shopify merchants to run a real free scan

If you manage a live Shopify catalog and want a second set of eyes on product and variant readiness, install the Free plan and run one scan. We are specifically looking for real-world feedback on identifier gaps, image issues, prices, URLs, vendor data and variant structure.

No testimonial is required. Useful criticism and reproducible findings are welcome. Do not email store credentials, access tokens, passwords or customer data.

Live on the Shopify App Store

PAL Catalog Check launched publicly on September 22, 2026. Shopify merchants can install the Free plan directly from the Shopify App Store. Pro is available at $19/month or $199/year.

The app is read-only and requests product access for catalog scanning. It does not edit products or variants and does not require Google Merchant Center credentials.
